The Royal Sutton School Parent Teacher Association

The Royal Sutton School PTA aims is to advance the education of students in the school by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school by engaging in activities, as well as providing facilities and equipment that support the school.

PTA Meetings

PTA meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are open to all parents, and agendas and minutes are circulated via the PTA WhatsApp. For further details please email pta@jws.bham.sch.uk.

Volunteers

We always need willing volunteers to make our events as successful as possible. If you are willing to help out at any event or have any other ideas, then please email pta@jws.bham.sch.uk. Please title the email ‘PTA WhatsApp’ and include your name, your child’s name and your number. Once your number is checked on our records, we will send you the code to join the community group.

We never take anyone’s participation for granted. Every little bit helps us and ensures that we can continue funding projects to benefit all of our children.

Events:

The PTA organise many events for both parents and children during the school year. Some of these are to raise funds, but many are about having fun, getting to know people, and expanding our school community.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
